Damn! I hit it! I actually HIT the ball this time! Okay, throw down the bat, don't hit the catcher, that's right, now run! Run like the wind, man, because I think that ball is going to go over that wall! I hope my mama is watching! What? I said WHAT? Hey! Drop that ball!

haha. remember all those times you would not let me drive the car...lol. nice 55!
mine is up!
LOL! this is fantastic and very funny -- well done.
My 55 is here in case you'd like to read.
I'm glad I was inspiration (well, along with Denard Span's mama) for your 55. Between the two of us, that young man is in SO much trouble. Just wait till she gets him home.
As for your question on my 55, I'm not sure there are rules for the pictures we use other than standard copyright laws. The picture we both used is a mock-up from a newspaper article. I took a screen shot of part of the article, pasted in a picture of Span from the video, put it all in PowerPoint and tilted it.
And as you have probably discovered, everyone's 55 is different, on a different topic. Some may use pictures, many do not. But I'd wager you and I will be the only ones with the Denard Span newspaper article this week. ;-)
I hope his mom is okay. If not, he's going to need alot of therapy!
A terrific first 55! Welcome to the club.
Wow! What are the chances?? Great 55, Kathy. You're doing wonderfully at these. Happy Easter Weekend!!
Magpie: I stole PattiKen's picture. Unwittingly...I thought that the 55 Flash Fiction Friday was where everyone used the same picture, so I took it off of PattiKen's page.
*****disclaimer: That baseball photo that PattiKen spent so much time on is HERS. She gets all the credit. She worked hard on it and did things to it that I have not a clue about...Thanks PattiKens, and now I know. If you'd like for me to remove it, let me know and I will happily do that! xxoo
Hey, Kathy, no worries. It actually took no time at all to mock up the picture. I love that it inspired you to continue the story. Poor Denard.
Thank you, PK...Yes, I'm sort of beginning to feel sorry for him. LOL.
