The beautiful porcelain Indian baby doll sat high on a shelf in my office, away from the danger of childrens' hands, adored from a distance.
One day I noticed she looked unhappy up there alone, not happy like I thought, until she was adopted by all my little granddaughters...all smiles and love here now!

How nice! The little Indian baby knew that dolls need to be loved too.
wonderful...i often think toys must be lonely once we out grown them...glad to see this ones day came again...
Toys need to be loved and played with...that's their purpose. I never understood collectors wanting pristine toys still in their boxes. What life has that toy had? They need the scars and hugs and kisses of loving.
Have I ever seen that doll? I tend not to notice much that isn't at eye level and since I'm short....
