The day I miss my mother most, is on Mother's Day, when I want to go to her house and give her flowers and a sappy card and just watch her. I just wish I could watch her doing mundane things for one more day.
I love her. I hope her Mother's Day is spent surrounded by pink.

- I believe in ghosts. I love the ocean, that's why I live in Indiana. ?? The ocean symbolizes exactly who I am, is something I identify with and respect...sometimes calm, sometimes beautiful, sometimes pissed off and dark but always moving. Music is my catalyst in life. My attitude can change as quickly as that ocean, just by hearing a song I love. I tend to dissect music and one song will sound different to me every time I hear it, even after the hundredth time because I am listening to something different each time. My favorite quote is from the book "Water for Elephants" by Sara Gruen: "I am ninety. Or ninety-three. One or the other." That's exactly the way I feel...age means nothing. All that really matters is that you're happy.

You know it is! And she's spending it just the way she'd want - chatting with her friends on the computer. LOL. Just kidding. I know she's spending it with both you and Mike today. How cool is that? I'll share my Mom with you. I know it's not the same but she loves you like a daughter.
