THE DACHSHUND DIARIES

A couple of nights ago, my grandson was sitting on the sofa, eating a cheese stick, and watching some cartoons.  Annie, the Dachshund you can just TELL is near death from starvation, was standing guard, not to rescue David should something happen, but to make sure if so much as a crumb of cheese dropped, she was there to dive on it and consume it.  The photos I took are not very good because Jamie and I were laughing our butts off, but you will get the idea.  These photos were shot over a period of about ten minutes.  One thing about Dachshunds, they are unwavering and persistent!

Kid has food.  Dachshund wants food kid has.

Kid has FOOD.  Dachshund WANTS food kid has.

Kid has food.  DACHSHUND WANTS FOOD KID HAS!

KID HAS FOOD, DACHSHUND WANTS FOOD KID HAS!!

Okay, I can move down here to get the food the kid has.

SIGH!  Kid has food.  Dachshund wants food kid has.
